Dalai Lama Post #9: Is Money Going to Be With You Forever?

I agree with His Holiness, especially in the case of such a huge misconception. Today, the world is run by money, people earn money, and you have to get necessary things with money. And even with trade and profit, the world is also poor; in the question of having weak values and poverty. Materialism is adequate to an extent, but once you cross the border line it seem frivolous to understand if you are going to be a human again. Happiness can never lie in greed, and greed tricks your mind into thinking that you are happy. If you have even one dollar in your pocket, it should make you happy thinking  that in any situation you at least have something. You may not have a million dollars at hand, but one dollar is sufficient. That is how materialism is fine to an extent, now finding the border is pretty simple. The border is basically if you get hard-earned money from your job or business. Once you cross the border, all your mind thinks of is having more more more. You'll know if you have crossed the border once you disregard your family's advice and needs and start earning money in wrong ways. Wrong ways will ultimately lead you to illegal actions and punishment.
All this "hub-shub" that comes from the greed of having more money is flawed and you should never go on this path. That's why +Dalai Lama  remarks on the fact that happiness comes from within as happiness is compassion and being spiritually awakened. Learning, understanding, being truthful, and seeing the world with a positive outlook is much more important. Money is never a status nor something that lowers your self-esteem.
MONEY IS ONLY FOR USING IT TO GET NECESSARY THINGS AND TO ESTABLISH IT FOR MATERIALISTIC WORKS IN THE WORLD.
I never appreciated money in any other sense. WHY?

When you die, you are not going to take your money with you. Everything stays here on this Earth!
